Upon successful enrolment and receipt of full payment, you will be granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the course content and, where applicable, the vDPO tool, for the duration of access specified at the time of enrolment.
Course access is granted to the individual who enrols. You may not share your login credentials, allow any other person to access your account, or distribute course content in any form. Any such sharing constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw any course content or features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of material changes.
Important: Completion of any course on this Website does not constitute legal advice and does not create any professional or fiduciary relationship between you and Alcertis Education Ventures Private Limited or its faculty. Access to the vDPO compliance platform ("the Tool") is included as part of the Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) programme. The Tool is provided solely for educational and professional development purposes.
Your data and ours. When you use the Tool, you may enter data relating to organisations, processing activities, vendors, data flows, and other compliance information ("Tool Data"). You retain ownership of Tool Data that you enter. By entering Tool Data into the Tool, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the Tool's functionality to you.
You acknowledge that in respect of Tool Data that relates to other identifiable individuals or organisations, you are the Data Fiduciary for that data and we act as a Data Processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Tool complies with applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
You must not enter into the Tool any personal data that you are not lawfully authorised to process. We are not responsible for any unlawful or unauthorised processing of personal data carried out through the Tool by you.
The Tool is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not warrant that the Tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the compliance outputs generated by the Tool are legally sufficient for your specific circumstances. The Tool is an educational aid — it is not a substitute for legal advice.
Fees. Course fees are as displayed on the Website at the time of enrolment and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. GST is applicable at the prevailing rate. A GST invoice will be provided upon request.
Payment. Payments are processed through Razorpay. Where a student is unable to complete payment through Razorpay, we may accept payment by UPI transfer to our registered UPI ID. All payments must be made in full prior to course access being granted.
Early bird pricing. Where an early bird fee is offered, it is valid only until the date specified on the Website. Enrolment at the early bird price is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time before the specified closing date.
Refund policy. You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the date of payment, provided that your request is submitted before course access commences. Refund requests received after course access has commenced will not be entertained.
